Across government and business, AI is already answering citizen questions, detecting fraud, triaging hospital scans, advising farmers and drafting documents. This is AI in Governance: using AI to do the real work of an organisation. This focused course is about that adoption journey, from first pilot to full scale.

You will start by separating the two roles of AI in the public sphere and zeroing in on adoption. Then you will lay the foundations that make AI actually work (trustworthy data, digital infrastructure, computing power and skills), see how AI transforms services across health, agriculture, education, transport and administration, and study real case studies from India (Digital Public Infrastructure, the IndiaAI Mission and Bhashini) and the United States (federal procurement power). You will learn how national, state and local governments, and businesses, adopt AI, and follow a repeatable playbook for moving from pilot to scale. The course ends by helping you draft an adoption roadmap for your own organisation.

Each module includes a short video overview, richly illustrated lessons, quizzes and an interactive activity, including a Digital and AI Readiness Snapshot you can run for your own team. No technical background is required.
